| GPCS Appreciates Area Churches! †Greater Portland Christian School is blessed to have many area churches supporting this ministry! Support from churches comes in many ways from prayer, speaking at Chapel, building use, financial, announcing our events, etc. GPCS thanks all of you! Greater Portland Christian School is thankful for the pastors who volunteer to come and share God’s Word with our students at Chapel. This year we were blessed with the following: Pastor Ira Hall of Bean’s Corner Baptist Church, Pastor Herb Blake & Pastor David Perkins from Living Hope Church of God, Pastor Danny Patterson of Second Parish OPC, Pastor Ari Kellar of Hollis Center Baptist Church, Pastor Laura Holt Haslam of Buxton Center Baptist Church, John Priddy– student at NEBC, a mission team & interns from Southcoast Community Church, Marcus Corey of Moose River Outpost Camp, Marilyn McClendon of Southcoast Community Church, Pastor Russell Lane, Pastor Bill Woodruff of Assembly of God, Pastor Tim Owen of South Portland Church of the Nazarene, Mr. Maxwell with Gideons, Pastor Mark Pearson of Christchurch, Pastor John Haslam of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Pastor David Stewart with Christ the Redeemer, Mark Labaczs– pastor intern with Galilee Baptist Church, Rob Conant of Heaven’s Saints Motorcycle Ministry, Carre Gardner -Missionary to Russia, Will Wolf of First Evangelical Free, Pastor Josh Otte of Windham Baptist Church. May the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him. Area Churches Share facilities, tables, etc. Several area churches have been so gracious to let us use their buildings or equipment for events that the school can not accommodate. This past year GPCS thanks the following: South Portland for hosting our Sport’s Banquet & Mary Willink’s Farewell South Portland Church of the Nazarene for hosting graduationSouthcoast Community Church for hosting our senior banquet.First Baptist Church of South Portland let us borrow tables for our Homecoming.GPCS Appreciates Financial Help GPCS is thankful for the churches that are able to help the school financially. Join us in thanking and praying for these very giving congregations.
Village Baptist Church † Where do the families of Greater Portland Christian School worship? GPCS families attend about 42 different churches in the greater Portland area on Sundays. Below is a list of the churches with the most GPCS families attending.
GPCS is bless to have 10 pastor’s families currently enrolled/involved at school! † How does GPCS support our area churches? GPCS offers links to local churches from this page. GPCS can inform the school families of your events by posting posters on the bulletin board and by posting info on our GPCS Linkin' Log email system. Many churches are listed in our school catalog and welcome packet. Occasionally we have partnered with mission projects. GPCS lists Chapel speakers and their churches monthly in our flyer. Please contact us with any questions or if there is something GPCS can do for you.
