GPCS Appreciates Area
Churches!
Greater
Portland Christian School is blessed to have many area churches
supporting this ministry! Support from churches comes in many
ways from prayer, speaking at Chapel, building use, financial,
announcing our events, etc. GPCS thanks all of you!
One huge benefit from churches in the area is in
their pastors volunteering to come and share God’s Word at our
Chapel services. In 2009, GPCS was blessed by God through the
following:
Rev. Steve Espling & Will Wolf of First
Evangelical Free Church.
Rev. David Stewart of Christ the Redeemer PCA.
Rev. Tom Hasbrouck of Galilee
Baptist Church.
Pastor Ira Hall of Bean’s
Corner Baptist Church.
John Priddy– student at New
England Bible College.
Marcus Corey of Moose River Outpost– a
Christian outdoor adventure camp.
Lori Libby & Catherine Crockett of Royal
Ridge Church of God sharing mission trip.
Andy Enright of Eastpoint
Christian Church.
Bob McClure of Maine’s
Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Dr. Theriault of Second Parish OPC.
Rev. Ari Kellar of Hollis
Center Baptist Church.
Rev. Mark Pearson of Christchurch.
Rev. Daniel Marston– retired pastor.
Pastor John Haslam of Intervarsity
Christian Fellowship.
Pastor David Perkins of Living
Hope Church.
Doug Elder of The Wrecking, member of Windham Baptist
Church.
Area Churches Share facilities,
tables, etc.
Several area churches have been so gracious to let us use their
buildings or equipment for events that the school can not
accommodate. This past year GPCS thanks the following:
First Evangelical Free Church for hosting a benefit
concert.
Southcoast Community Church for letting our juniors host
the High School Banquet.
South Portland Church of the Nazarene for our graduation
ceremony last June.
First Baptist Church of South Portland for hosting our
annual Christmas Concert and Sports Banquet.
Second Parish for the use of tables for Homecoming.
Christchurch for hosting the GPCS Ladies Christmas Tea.
GPCS
Appreciates Financial Help
GPCS is thankful for the churches that are able to help the
school financially. Join us in thanking and praying for these very
giving congregations.

How
does GPCS support our area churches?
GPCS offers links to local churches from this page. GPCS can inform
the school families of your events by posting posters on the bulletin
board and by posting info on our GPCS Linkin' Log email system.
Many churches are listed in our school catalog and welcome packet.
Occasionally we have partnered with mission projects. GPCS lists
Chapel speakers and their churches monthly in our flyer. Please
contact us with any questions
or if there is something GPCS can do for you.
