Tuition, Enrollment, & Fees

Tuition Schedules - Pay in Advance or Monthly
Tuition may be paid in advance OR in ten consecutive monthly installments which are due on the 10th of each month, beginning August 10th and ending May 10th. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged to accounts not paid by the 10th. If you have unpaid tuition at the end of a semester, you will not be allowed to attend the following semester until your overdue balance is paid in full. Report cards will be withheld when tuition and other fees are overdue. Students will not be permitted to begin a new school year if a balance is showing for any previous school year. Students who leave the school for any reason will be charged tuition on a pro-rata basis.

Tuition for the 2008-2009 school year is shown in the table, to the right.


Family Tuition Plan - Policy for More Than One Student
Families who enroll more than one student at GPCS are guided by additional policies, see the table to the right. Fees are applied for all students..

Re-Enrollment Application - Due Before June 1st
A re-enrollment fee of $100.00 is applicable to each child in the family, including those with tuition aid or tuition credit. It must be enclosed with the re-enrollment application. After June 1, the re-enrollment fee increases to $125.00. This fee is non-refundable, unless the student is not accepted by GPCS.

New Enrollment Application & Screening Fee
A screening fee of $10.00 ($20.00 for Kindergarten) must be enclosed with each application before it can be processed. Upon written or verbal notification of acceptance, the registration fee of $100.00 must be paid before classroom space can be reserved. This fee is non-refundable, unless the student is not accepted by GPCS.
Other Fees - Due July 1st or August 25th.

*Besides the Curriculum and Activity Fees shown in the table to the right, a Service Fee* of $200.00 is required. This fee can be paid with time versus money. This fee is designed to encourage parental involvement in the school, which is crucial for our operations. If 20 hours of approved volunteer time is completed, you will not need to pay the service fee. Each family is only responsible for one service fee, and will not be charged per child.

Deadlines!
Re-enrollment fees are due by June 1. New enrollment fees must be paid within 30 days of registration or by August 25, whichever is earlier. All fees are non-refundable and subject to change without notice.

Other Discounts
Pastoral Discount - For a licensed pastor of a local established church, an additional 15% discount will apply to each child in his immediate family.

Tuition Aid Program - Due May 15th!

The purpose of the GPCS Tuition Assistance Program is to help parents with a part of their children's school tuition. This program will allow students whose families may not be able to afford full tuition an opportunity for a Christian school education.

Tuition assistance will be granted to selected families based on need and under no circumstances will tuition assistance exceed 50% of tuition costs. No student will be disqualified because of race, sex, color, or national or ethnic origin. All applications will be considered and the final decision for tuition assistance will rest with GPCS.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for GPCS for the upcoming 2008-09 school year. Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation along with a $20 application fee to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by May 15, 2008. Paper applications will be available in the school office on April 1, 2008. Applicants can also apply online.

Decisions will be announced as soon as possible after May 31, 2008.
